Overview
We're hiring a hands-on Lead Hand who can assist with day-to-day site work while helping keep projects moving. This role is ideal for someone who's skilled on the tools, can take direction from the Site Supervisor, and knows how to step up and lead when needed. You'll be an important part of the crew, balancing labour with leadership to make sure jobs stay on track.
What You'll Do

Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, trim, or general labour depending on project scope

Support the Site Supervisor with daily planning, supply runs, and material handling

Guide other labourers or junior trades as needed

Help enforce site safety and cleanliness standards

Flag any site issues or delays to the Supervisor

Take the lead when the Supervisor is off-site

Communicate with trades and suppliers on-site when necessary

Ensure that tools and materials are stored and maintained properly
What We're Looking For

Solid construction experience (minimum 2-3 years hands-on)

Comfortable leading small teams or taking initiatives without micromanagement

Dependable, consistent, and solution-oriented

Able to read and interpret drawings or directions from site leads

Willing to assist with clean-ups or extra tasks when required

Basic hand tools and reliable transportation is a must
